JOIN THE 2024 NAIDOC CHALLENGE!

The Wingaru NAIDOC Challenge is an annual free event where teachers are encouraged to explore the NAIDOC theme across term 3. We challenge teachers to bring related content into the classroom each week of the term.

How it works

We understand that teachers are busy so the Challenge has been designed to be as flexible as you need it to be. You choose how you engage with the Challenge, how much content you include and which resources you use. 

This year we have included a class project to get your students collaborating on how they can amplify the need for change. 

We will send you ideas and information throughout the Challenge and encourage you to follow Wingaru and the Challenge team members for information, ideas and tips.

Download our free planner and choose your own path. Identify content, resources and activities that suit your class. The Challenge team have heaps of ideas to share! Build the experience, your way.

Option 2:

If you'd prefer to follow our plan, buy one of our Challenge Packs. They contain everything you need for a term of learning including a full scope and sequence, comprehensive lesson plans, video, activities and printables as well as a local research task to bring in local perspectives and project ideas and plans to support your class to create a deadly statement about change.
